A sunbow bursts over Mayam Elkashouty during a ‘Free Palestine’ rally at Port Botany, Bidjigal Land, Sydney. Organisers of the rally were demanding a halt to all arms and weapons related trade with Israel. There have been claims that Australia is supplying parts for the F-35 bomber – claims that the Australian government denies. The F-35 has been employed over Gaza. According to the Gazan Ministry of Health, over 40,000 Palestinians, including more than 16.000 children, have been killed by Israeli forces since October last year.
