SCOTT KELLEHER, WALK FOR FREEDOM (DOCUMENTARY & STREET 2024)
Last year Neil Para walked from Ballarat to Sydney to petition for his freedom (permanent visa) as a refugee living in limbo along with his family and many others in Australia. Neil in his family have been living without access to employment, Medicare, or education since arriving by boat from Sri Lanka in 2012. Here's Neil on the outskirts of Cootamundra on a foggy morning part way on his legendary Walk For Freedom. There are still over 10000 Australian refugees without visas on the national agenda.
