SAIDHRUVA PATEL REDDY VALIPIREDDY, "Valleys of Water, Ridges of Light" (LANDSCAPE & ENVIRONMENT 2025)

From above, the sea becomes terrain. The whale’s passage fractures the surface into ridges and valleys, mirroring the contours of mountain ranges and desert dunes. Rendered in monochrome, the ocean sheds its fluidity and takes on the weight of stone, while the whale itself dissolves into the seascape—no longer creature, but geography in motion. This is landscape reimagined: the ocean behaving like earth, alive with shifting forms.
