Aaron Stanley, Unearthed (LANDSCAPE & ENVIRONMENT 2025)
Unearthed captures the weathered remains of a dead tree rising from the pink waters of a salt lake, its branches stretching outward like veins across the surface. The lake’s vivid hues reflect the stump in perfect symmetry, framed by salt crystals gathering along the shoreline. In the distance, rolling green hills and wisps of cirrus clouds offer a soft contrast to the raw textures below. This moment reveals something both ancient and otherworldly — a trace of what once lived, now etched into the colours of the land, salt, and sky. Panorama using tilt shift lens - 3 photos stitched.
