True Resilience This portrait explores resilience beyond survival. After suffering severe burns across most of her body, her life was permanently altered in ways few people could comprehend. Yet she found a new relationship with herself, with vulnerability, and with strength. Rather than hiding the physical reminders of her experience, she carries them openly. What could have become a story defined by tragedy instead became one of perspective, growth, and extraordinary resilience. I wanted the images of her to feel quiet, direct, and human, allowing her presence to speak louder than the circumstances that shaped her. Her scars are not symbols of weakness. They are proof that she endured.
