“I came out as queer in my 30s and identify as cisgender. I’ve performed cabaret, drag and circus. As they’ve grown, I’ve slowly shared my life with my children, allowing them to question and have their say. My eldest, an extrovert, explores performance and business; my youngest, an introvert, is interested in history, philosophy and politics. Their choices here reflect their differences.
