Rocky Sutherland , The Wheelwright (PEOPLE & PORTRAIT 2026)

I met this historical re-enactor whilst visiting Sovereign Hill in Ballarat. Whilst explaining the process of making a wagon wheel to a small group, I captured a series of images of him. I particularly like this one, caught in a candid moment of contemplation. It worked really well with the available natural light.
