In the quiet heart of Vulcan State Forest, the forest’s inhabitants go about their daily lives, largely unseen. On this morning, a kangaroo made its way down the road, moving with a calm purpose that seemed entirely its own. The snow softens the landscape, lending a stillness to each step, and for a brief moment, the world of the forest and the human world meet. It is in these fleeting encounters that the forest reveals its gentle, enduring life.
