David Niu, the frozen moment (DOCUMENTARY & STREET 2024)

The Queima das Fitas (Portuguese for Ribbon Burning) is a traditional festivity of the students of some Portuguese universities Especially in Porto. I had never heard it before I was in Porto . It was taken just after few hours after arriving .This square is located few streets away from my hotel . It was before dark and I was on my way trying to find a restaurant. I was super lucky to walk into this surreal scene. A 28mm lens on my monochrome camera, I am a fan to shoot black & white in lower light conditions so it’s definitely meet my appetite. It was a evening feels like a dream , and we end up with a delicious crab dinner at a restaurant nearby
