This image is for me a measure of time passing. This deserted house on the side of a main road holds within its walls the happenings, memories and growth of possibly multiple generations. In its time the centre of people's lives - now a decaying monument to the passing of time and the memories that were. The stretched lines in the foreground and background imitate the passing of time and the cool blue tone of the black and white image adds to the desolation of the image.
