Jennifer Blau, The Crossing (DOCUMENTARY & STREET 2026)
A monk walks across a pedestrian crossing outside the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh, in Cambodia. Phnom Penh today, is becoming increasingly westernised but the Buddhist monks are still revered for their traditional practices and commitment to love, peace and compassion. In the shadow of a world marked by increasing division and hate, this feels never more precious. It is not so long ago that 25,000 monks were murdered by the Khmer Rouge under Pol Pot’s authoritarian regime from 1975-1979.
