MARIA LLOYD, SYLVAN SKELETON (LANDSCAPE & ENVIRONMENT 2026)
An environmental study captured across the wetlands of my rural property in Central Queensland. Rising sharply from the glassy water, the bare, stark branches of dead timber stand like sylvan skeletons against a dramatic, golden twilight sky. Surrounded by resilient native trees and fleeting wildlife, the image explores the silent beauty of decay and renewal within the regional Australian landscape.
