Pamela Pauline, Stillness (ART & CONCEPTUAL 2026)
Stillness explores the fragile relationship between native wildlife and their habitat. Two black swans inhabit a wetland surrounded by Australian flora, where water becomes both refuge and vulnerability. Created amid growing environmental pressures on Australia’s waterways and the emerging threat of avian influenza, the work reflects on the increasingly precarious nature of our natural environment and the habitat our species rely upon.
