Nilesh Choithramani, Starlight Serenade (LANDSCAPE & ENVIRONMENT 2024)

As darkness fell, the skies above twinkled with the shimmering lights of countless stars. As my eyes gazed towards the southern horizon under the all too familiar Magellanic Clouds, I saw the whispy and faint beams of the Aurora Australis take center stage, dancing across gracefully along the horizon at one of the back beaches of the scenic Mornington Peninsula at Blairgowrie . This image was captured on the 30th July 2024 . I used a 14mm focal length lens and captured 3 images , each focus stacked to bring in details to the sky and the foreground.
