Petra Matthews, Sand and Stone (LANDSCAPE & ENVIRONMENT 2025)
While walking along the beach at Apollo Bay, I was captivated by the intricate lines left in the sand by the waves and the striking contrast between the pebbles and the sand. These elements felt even more enchanting when captured in black and white. Having grown up near Apollo Bay and explored many beaches along the Great Ocean Road, I continue to be amazed by the ever-changing coastal landscape and the powerful, shaping influence of the sea.
