Kathy Chapman, Reine in the summer (LANDSCAPE & ENVIRONMENT)

We are used to seeing Norway in the winter, with snow everywhere and a backdrop of the Northern Lights. But did you know it is equally beautiful in summer? Wildflowers grow everywhere, the sky changes constantly throughout the day, from bright blue, to stormy, to misty and back to blue again. Every town is snuggled into the feet of spectacular mountains and facing a clean, clear sea. The sun doesn't set and at 2am, it is still as bright as midday. Its easily the most beautiful place I have visited and I can't wait to go back. This was taken in Reine in early July.
