Galina Romalis, Playground in Saltivka (DOCUMENTARY & STREET)

Saltivka is a northern suburb of Kharkiv, Ukraine. When Russia invaded in early 2022 this leafy neighbourhood became the frontline for the defence of Kharkiv and was targeted by enemy artillery and rocket fire. In 2023, after the Russian advance failed, the community is slowly recovering while the war goes on.
