Angela van Wijk, Pēpē Pukana (PEOPLE & PORTRAIT)
Pēpē translates to 'baby' in Māori. Pukana: Is a wild facial expression made by someone performing a haka. A korowai (feather cloak) is worn as mantle of prestige and honour in Māori culture. While capturing a photo to celebrate her family heritage, pēpē unexpectedly but, so perfectly timed gave me the cutest pukana, I have ever seen.
