Suzanne Phoenix, Our Carlson (PEOPLE & PORTRAIT 2025)

Our Carlson is a disabled poet, writer, performer from Naarm. This portrait was captured backstage moments after his hypnotic performance at Estonian House, Brunswick West in August 2024. Our Carlson hand wrote the words 'NDIS CUTS KILL' on the t-shirt in response to the NDIS overhaul by the Federal Government.
