Sharon De Paoli, Old World Charm of Bats (LANDSCAPE & ENVIRONMENT 2025)
The small town of Picton, NSW, had an estimated colony of 35,000 fruit bats this year. They choose to live along Stonequarry Creek near the centre of town and the community has very mixed feelings about them being here. I love taking my camera and just watching their interactions, they are very entertaining little creatures.
