Jessica Tormey, "Not everything that's meant to be seen, is meant to be known" (PEOPLE & PORTRAIT 2025)
This image is part of a series for my Collarts Capstone folio where I created a series of images based off of my trauma living in this world with parents that didn't want me, it explored the complexities of relationships and how they shaped who I became. it was meant to heal me but in turn it did the opposite. This particular image was created in a sense of a child who was forever silenced, forever shut down and told her place in this world simply did not deserve to exist. Yet here she is, still existing despite everything else.
Images have been resized for web display, which may cause some loss of image quality. Note: Original high-resolution images are used for judging.
