David Fung, Neo! Where are you? (ART & CONCEPTUAL 2025)

This image is my tribute to the movie Matrix shot at Martin Pl and CBD some 25 years ago. That Colonial State Bank Centre was the government building in which Morpheus was being held captive by the evil Agent Smith. In that movie, the heroes use phones to enter and leave the simulated reality their minds were held captive in. Hence, I wanted to create a surreal image with the phone booth at its centre. I picked the day when the sunset time was exactly at 5pm, when office workers were all rushing towards the bus stops and the train station. Shooting at f/8 - f/22 aperture, ISO 125-640, 1/2 - 0.77sec, I took 30 shots between 5-6pm, then combine 24 of them together to form this image using Nikon zf.
