MARIA LLOYD, MY GIRL MIA (PEOPLE & PORTRAIT 2026)

A charming domestic portrait captured on my rural property in Central Queensland. Set against a lush, green, homestead lawn, a small white Maltese-Shih Tzu cross companion named Mia stands alert, looking directly into the camera with bright, soulful eyes. The image explores the quiet, comforting presence of domestic animals on isolated regional properties, serving as a heartfelt study of companionship and home life in the Australian bush.
