Angela McIntyre, Mum (PEOPLE & PORTRAIT 2026)

I had to sneak this photo of mum on my phone, as she hates it when I turn the camera on her. She was looking for details of someone's funeral on her mobile in the early morning light, her twisted, arthritic fingers slowly tapping out the letters in the browser. She is 91 now and still spends a lot of time on her phone.
