A study of a planned hazard reduction burn clearing volatile undergrowth on my rural property in Central Queensland. The image captures the deliberate, seasonal management of the land to mitigate future catastrophe-balancing the immediate, ominous weight of the rising smoke with the essential protection of the surrounding eucalyptus bushland.
