Annette Peterson, Memories in the moment (LANDSCAPE & ENVIRONMENT 2025)

I took this with my iPhone as I was leaving my hometown in Norway. I had a quick four-day visit over Christmas, but it felt like I was there forever. The picture captures how travelling to a loved place is distorted by the interaction of the present time and memories of the ghosts of the past. The warped edges of the images are reminiscent of how time bends.
