Easter weekend in Mildura, Victoria. The crowd leans in as “Lil Gangster” launches, front wheels off the strip, smoke in the air. This was my first drag racing experience — handheld, raw and electric! The shot captures a split second of pure power at the Sunset Strip, a legendary meeting ground for Australian drag culture. No posing. No second takes. Just speed, noise and a community that lives for this.
