As locals throng past, a niño – and a couple of sheep (out of frame) – stands in the back a ute at the Small Animal Market in the Plaza de la Hierba, located in the High Andes town of Saqusilí. He’s been crying, and the traces remain on his face. Feria Indígena De Saqusilí, 8 January 2026
