The image shows the balance between the softness and strength of a hydrangea flower. Photographing this flower head on a lightpad with exposure bracketing technique created a delicate image reminiscent of a watercolour painting. However, on closer inspection, intricate veins, flower centres and leaves reveal surprising resilience.
