David Fung, Hitched (ART & CONCEPTUAL 2025)

I took this shot instinctively by shooting at my hips when these old couple was walking pass the newlyweds. In the post-processing, I duplicated the original colour photo and converted one of the duplicates into monochrome. I then hand-painted the original colours onto the monochrome just to highlight the juxtaposing of these two couples, who were of different age and ethnicity. Their brief coexistence under the Bridge symbolised inclusiveness. The more graphical architectural elements, i.e. the Bridge and the urban skyline, were highlighted in monochrome. That way I get the best of both colour and monochrome photography. (Note: I am not the wedding photographer)
