Set against the vast openness of the countryside, this image captures the beginning of a shared journey. The repeating rows of the field create strong leading lines, drawing the veiwer towards the couple and symbolising the path they are about to take together. The low perspective places them within their environment, while the soft evening light adds warmth and serenity. For me, this photograph represents marriage in its simplest form, two people choosing to walk forward together, wherever life may lead.
