Marion Wheeler, Gathering for Glory: Horsemen of Upper Mustang (DOCUMENTARY & STREET 2025)

After a morning of rituals, feasting, and the renewal of prayer flags at the village gompa, horsemen from Kimaling make their way to the start of the Yartung horse race. As one of the first foreign guests invited to witness this day of celebration, I watched tradition, spirit, and speed come alive in the highlands of Upper Mustang.
