Sharon De Paoli, Fruit Bat Colony (LANDSCAPE & ENVIRONMENT 2025)

This is the viaduct at the historic town of Picton, NSW. I took this photo to not just show the bridge but to highlight the fruit bat colony that arrives every year, the total this year was estimated to be about 35,000 individuals. Looking closely you can see how many are just in this photo alone and it's only part of the colony.
