Pamela Pauline, Fragile Flowers in a Wooden Vessel (ART & CONCEPTUAL 2026)
Fragile Flowers in a Wooden Vessel reimagines the 17th-century floral still life through an Australian lens. Inspired by Jan Brueghel the Elder, the work brings together 112 rare and threatened Australian species, photographed individually and composed into an impossible abundance. It transforms the traditional still life into a living archive, bearing witness to species at risk of disappearance.
