Veronica Sorley, For the Environment (LANDSCAPE & ENVIRONMENT 2026)

We are seeing numerous wind turbines popping up across the scapes both land and water. As our need for energy and power grows so do the collection of instruments to capture the energy around us. Are our needs for power counter productive to our attempts to be environmentally protective? Does the energy consumption of building and installing these outweigh the ability to capture and provide over what it consumed to be here? Is there an environmental repercussion to have such devices in huge numbers? These are somewhat confronting to those not used to seeing them in such numbers and you can’t help but ask is this the right way?
