Nilmini De Silva, Earths Arteries (LANDSCAPE & ENVIRONMENT 2025)

It was a rare privilege to witness the flooding around the Lake Eyre basin from the air this year. One of the highlights was capturing the the intricate, meandering veins of the Channel Country. Water is life in the Outback region of Australia and when it floods, it is a life source for so many. From the air, it felt like looking down on the veins of a vast living continent.
