As adults we tend to be observational in nature, children however will immerse themselves in nature’s offerings. A hands-on exploration and discovery of the natural environment will provoke children into thought and action. Where we simply see a beautiful flower, they will discover all the things they can do with the flower and subsequently deepen their connection to the land, in a way we have perhaps, sadly outgrown.
