Mary Regan, Deep in the Mist (LANDSCAPE & ENVIRONMENT 2025)

Tasmania's mighty Gordon Dam sits deep within the reaches of the Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park, you don't stumble on it by chance. On a freezing day we drove through spectacular scenery to reach it, with a plan to walk down the very steep stairs and across the dam wall. In the howling wind and biting rain though, it was far too scary. Taking this shot in the conditions was a challenge enough, but the view was worth it!
