BRUNO KONGAWOIN, Copped Hall Nude (PEOPLE & PORTRAIT 2025)
"Copped Hall Nude" is a quiet study in grace and form. A portrait where nudity transcends the superficial notion of nakedness. Set against the timeless elegance of a grand, weathered interior, I captured this female subject bathed in soft morning light pouring through a tall window. Here, the body is not revealed but rather understood, shaped and reconciled by the interplay of light, space, and stillness. Within the quiet of Copped Hall, I intended for the photograph to invite the viewer to see not a naked figure, but a presence, poised, and entirely at home within the frame. This is not a provocation but a meditation.
