Steve Chivers, Cold burn the night away. (LANDSCAPE & ENVIRONMENT 2024)

Driving home late one night I noticed a significant amount of smoke and glare coming from the western basin of Lake Burley Griffin. Along Lady Denman Drive I noticed the fire trucks and flames, and decided to pull over in a parking lot to watch the scene. It was a cold night in Canberra (13th Sept, 2024), and I wanted to get closer to the backburn for a little heat. Probably wouldn't have been allowed, plus I only had my 80-300mm lens on anyway.
