Will Hartl, Changpa Nomads (PEOPLE & PORTRAIT)

The Changpa nomads are nomadic goat herding tribes that migrate across the mountainous high desert of the Ladakh region in India. Living in the thin air between 4000-5000m, these ‘part gypsy, part nomadic farmers’ move their flocks as the seasons, snow melt & grasses change year round.
