Tebani Slade, Carrefoc (DOCUMENTARY & STREET 2025)

These images were taken while attending the Carrefoc celebrations in Barcelona. Carrefoc or Fire Run is a centuries old tradition of Catalunya that has roots back to the 12th Century. People dressed as Diabos (Devils) run the streets setting off fireworks amongst the crowds of spectators, recreating the duel between good and evil. An electrifying event that blends tradition, community and adrenalin.
