Dane Beesley, Buranda Bag (LANDSCAPE & ENVIRONMENT)

The name Buranda is thought to have been derived from an Aboriginal word referring to wind or a windy place, possibly a reference to wind from Brisbane's Norman Creek. Dane captures the dynamic interplay between the sky and its surroundings. He seeks to freeze these fleeting moments, preserving them for contemplation and reflection.
