Steve Puli, Beneath the Colossus (LANDSCAPE & ENVIRONMENT 2026)
The sweeping lines and repeating columns of the monumental infrastructure of the newly built Bridgewater Bridge in Hobart, create a cathedral-like space, capturing the contrast with human fragility. The soft morning light and mist from the River Derwent soften the rigid concrete architecture, creating a quiet moment where scale, symmetry and solitude converge.
