Sonja Bella, As Dawn Breaks (LANDSCAPE & ENVIRONMENT 2026)

Engulfed in the stillness, the frigid air resting on my face, I watch the kaleidoscope of pastel colors emerge from the darkness as dawn slowly breaks. In this luminous landscape, the solitary tree and its mirrored reflection create a poised meditation on stillness, symmetry, and the quiet tension between solitude and renewal. Soft atmospheric color and expansive negative space invite the viewer to linger in a moment that feels both deeply contemplative and timeless. Location: Wanaka – South Island – New Zealand
