Norman Arnel Zamora, A visit to a forest at Togakushi (LANDSCAPE & ENVIRONMENT 2026)

We've reached the last of five shrines to visit at Togakushi, located northwest of Nagano, Japan. In another two hours, it would be sunset and temperature would start to drop. Being Autumn, it gets dark quite early. The sun was getting low and fog had started to form amongst the trees. An early trek back to the bus stop would avoid walking in the dark and the cold.
